  HOUSTON ATTRACTIONS
Market Square Historic District
Filled with 19th century architecture and a variety of dining establishments, the Market Square area is a great place to go for local historical flavor. The area offers a range from La Carafe,
which features an extensive and sophisticated wine list to modern dance clubs for the younger set.
Space Center Houston
The Space Center is not to be missed. If you've ever heard the expression, “Houston, we have a problem,” this is where they're referring to. Houston is home to much of NASA's work. Visitors can
see specimens from space, find out about the challenges that astronauts face, and find out about the history of space travel. The Space Center is an absolute must for space and sci-fi enthusiasts.
The Galleria
For those looking for a retail therapy, the Galleria has it. This behemoth of a mall sports two hotels, an indoor skating rink, 375 stores, theaters, and restaurants. You can find a full range of
shops from Gucci and Armani to The Children’s Place and Borders.
Memorial Park
Memorial Park is great for a day when you just want to take it easy and go with the flow. You can walk the trails or rent a bicycle to ride the trails. You can also try out the tennis courts, the golf course, or
the driving range.
The Orange Show Monument
Unique to Houston, the Orange Show Monument took over twenty years to build, and contains a series of mazes, a frog pond, a wishing well, and some other interesting attractions. You won't find
anything quite like it anywhere else, so it's well worth visiting.
